You can now add a warm-up set when building a Custom Workout or while in Free Lift mode. Warm-up sets will be set at 60% of your recommended weight and will not impact your Strength Score.
PLAY YOUR OWN MUSIC DURING MOBILE WORKOUTS
You can now play music in the background of your Tonal mobile workouts! Play the music of your choice from any streaming service before starting your workout and it will play underneath your mobile workout for both iOS and Android. Make sure you update your app to the most recent version.

Interested in trying a Live (Beta) workout or looking for a bodyweight only workout? You can now easily filter by Live (Beta) or Bodyweight Only to find exactly what you’re looking for.
NEW TIMER BEFORE ADVANCING TO NEXT SET
Never worry about Tonal moving you onto the next move before you’re ready again! If you take a pause during the second half of your set, you will now have a 6 second countdown with an option to stay on your set before Tonal moves onto the next move! Click the “Next Move” button to move on, or the ‘x’ to stay on your move. Remember: even if Tonal moves on before you’re ready, you can still always tap the screen and go back to complete your set. We want you to hit 100% of your movement target as much as you do!
HR ZONES DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS FOR COLOR BLINDNESS
Thanks to your wonderful feedback, our team has made some tweaks to the design of the HR Zone indicator that appears in the top left corner of your trainer when you have an Apple Watch or HR monitor connected. You will now see a HR Zone bar graph that indicates which zone you’re in, along with the colored heart. This should help make it easier to distinguish for those who have color blindness or a visual impairment. Additionally, your name will now be displayed so you can quickly identify metrics while in a Partner Workout.
