HOW DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS?
From a young age, my family encouraged my love for movement. I grew up playing soccer, my teams coached by my grandmother and uncle. When I wasn’t playing soccer, I was singing and dancing. My close relationship with my dad and his love for fitness ignited the start of my own fitness journey during my freshman year of college and the rest is history!
HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?
I am motivated by results, not aesthetic or lifting results, but by how I feel from the things I do or don’t do. I find a majority of my motivation from listening to my body and answering with exactly what it needs, whether it’s yoga, a heavy lift-day, a hike with my dog, Mac, or absolutely nothing at all! When I listen to my body, I feel energized and whole, and those are the results I look for!
