Where did you grow up and how did you get into fitness?

I grew up in Santa Cruz, California and started dancing as soon as I could walk! I was trained as a ballerina all through my childhood, began running and weightlifting in my 20’s, and 6 years ago discovered the world of competitive pole dancing!

 

What do you love most about coaching?

I love solving puzzles, and that’s what coaching is to me; every person’s body has unique needs, and I love figuring out what exercises and programs will work best for them! I also LOVE people, so getting to know people I’m working with and who they are brings me a lot of joy.  

 

What excites you the most about being part of the Tonal team?  

The Tonal team has created something really special; this equipment is so intelligent, but what people may not see is all the passion and dedication that went on behind the scenes into building it. I’m also SO grateful to be on this coaching team; every coach is so different, but we are all dedicated to continuing our fitness education and designing quality programs that really help people.

 

What are your favorite movements on Tonal?

The Barbell Deadlift and the Chinup. They make me feel like I can conquer the world.

 

What is your favorite music to sweat to?

Surprise surprise, I like upbeat pop music. I will take Britney Spears and 80’s music all day.
